Bio
Na'Listen grew up in the Anderson house on Russell Avenue in North Minneapolis, the home where his great-grandmother Bernadette Anderson took in a young Prince, and where Grand Central, Prince's first band, grew up with his great-uncle André Cymone and great-aunt Linda Anderson in it.
He has been on record since 2001, when "Mirror Mirror" appeared on the Corner Store Diseases compilation. In 2013 he produced two tracks on Lil B's 05 Fuck Em — "You Unda" and "Love B" — and was featured on HC The Chemist and Mr. Cota Cota's Mirrors, released with Mo Thugs Music. His own catalog runs from the Digital Sweets EP (2013) through Bass Supirior, Epilogue of Nature, Fairies and Choppas and Fixation (2022).
He runs Raptile Records, owns his masters through Na'Listen Designs LLC and his publishing through ASCAP, and builds the tools he makes music and video with. Through Na'Listen Designs he has made logos and brands for more than a dozen businesses, including Terry Jackson's Norfside MPLS for Grand Central Band Inc. He also runs the Talijuano clothing line and Crib Chronicles, an AI animated series with more than 35,000 followers on TikTok.
